G-d is...

G-d is the Redeemer of man

"And the L-RD spake unto Moses saying...For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." Leviticus 17:1&11 G-d promised Moses that G-d himself would provide the blood for the atonement.

"And Abraham said, My son, G-d will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering..." Genesis 22:8 Abraham knew the same thing that Moses knew about redemption, G-d himself would be the blood sacrifice.

Isaiah 53 tells of G-d's blood sacrifice for man to be redeemed from all their sins and be able to spend etrnity with G-d

"...But he was wounded for our transgressions...the chastisement of our peace was upon him...for he shall bear their iniquities...he bare the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors."

Only the Messiah of Israel, Yeshua, qualifies for this discription. No nation has ever been holy and blameless to bear the sins for transgressors, whether it be Israel being carried away into Babylon for their rebellion against G-d or the pagan nations, none are able to bear others transgressions because their own transgressions need to be paid for. Only G-d through his Son could provide the sacrifice for transgression.

G-d is

G-d is the Judge of man

As Abraham speaks to G-d he says "...That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" Genesis 18:25

"Our G-d shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people." Psalm 50:6

Yes, G-d will judge man.

G-d is...

G-d is Three distinct persons in One G-d

"In the beginning (1) G-d created the heaven and the earth..." "and(2)the Spirit of G-d moved upon the face of the waters..." Genesis 1:1,2 "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment: Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is (3)his son's name, if thou canst tell" Proverbs 30:4

Number1,2,&3 supplied for clarification of the three persons in one G-d and emphasis.

(1)G-d the Father,(2)G-d the Spirit, and (3)G-d the Son are three distinct ,separate Persons yet One unified G-d

"Hear O Israel: The L-RD our G-d is one L-RD:..." Deuteronomy 6:4 "...from the time that it was there am I: and now the (1)L-RD G-d, and (2)his Spirit hath sent (3)me.(3)Thus saith the L-RD, thy Redeemer, the (3)Holy One of Israel: I am the L-RD thy G-d..."Isaiah 48:16b-17a.

We have a mighty G-d, Everlasting Father, Holy One. What a wonderful Redeemer.

Sing

"Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the L-RD..."Exodus 15:1
"Then Israel sang this song,..." Numbers 21:17
"Then sang Deborah and Barak..."...even I, will sing unto the L-rd, I will sing praise to the L-RD G-D of Israel..."
"Sing unto the L-RD, all the earth;shew forth from day to day his salvation," IChronicles 16:23
"Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the L-RD, because he cometh to judge the earth."
Singing is a way to praise the L-RD.

When G-d sings

I love  this verse about G-d joying over Israel with song during the kingdom.  It comes from Zephaniah 3:17
"The L-RD thy G-d in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing."
Because of my trust in the Lamb of G-d which taketh away the sin of the world I will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom.  I will hear G-d sing.  Will you be there also to hear G-d sing?

Family

My husband and I have interacted with the Jewish community over 30 years.  It has been the biggest part of our life  As his health deteriorates the interaction becomes less and less.  We love the Jews and miss their friendship. One day we will sit down in the kingdom with Abraham, Issac, Jacob, and others that have put their faith in the redemption of the Messiah.  G-d is the G-d of the living not of the dead.

Since returning home Ed has gone back into the hospital.  It was eminent, just a matter of when. May G-d be glorified and The L-RD be lifted up in every situation that people would be drawn unto the Messiah.

As we celebrate Independence Day may you think about true freedom, freedom from guilt, from the wages of sin, from the penalty of sin, found through the shed blood of the promised Messiah.
