Sing

I love to sing praises to the L-RD. It lifts me out of problems that have me bogged down, it puts everything in proper perspective, it gives me hope for that glad tomorrow, it reminds me of the love He has for me, it is a way of expressing the love I have for the Messiah. What a joy to be able to sing.  The greater joy will be when Zephaniah 3:17 (found in the Tenach) comes to pass.  "The L-RD thy G-d in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing." (bold print for emphases)  I look forward to hearing G-d sing to me.

What about the world?

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love

of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the

eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world and the world passeth away

and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of G-d abideth for ever."

The world has nothing lasting to offer a person.  Our affections are misplaced when we love the world.  When we love G-d  our lives are blessed on earth and rewarded  for eternity.

G-d is...

G-d is the Redeemer of man

"And the L-RD spake unto Moses saying...For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." Leviticus 17:1&11 G-d promised Moses that G-d himself would provide the blood for the atonement.

"And Abraham said, My son, G-d will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering..." Genesis 22:8 Abraham knew the same thing that Moses knew about redemption, G-d himself would be the blood sacrifice.

Isaiah 53 tells of G-d's blood sacrifice for man to be redeemed from all their sins and be able to spend etrnity with G-d

"...But he was wounded for our transgressions...the chastisement of our peace was upon him...for he shall bear their iniquities...he bare the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors."

Only the Messiah of Israel, Yeshua, qualifies for this discription. No nation has ever been holy and blameless to bear the sins for transgressors, whether it be Israel being carried away into Babylon for their rebellion against G-d or the pagan nations, none are able to bear others transgressions because their own transgressions need to be paid for. Only G-d through his Son could provide the sacrifice for transgression.
