The blood G-D has provided

When G-d humbled himself to take on human flesh he did not take on our human nature(sin nature).
G-D's blood atonement was provided in a special way by a special One. "Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high." Isaiah 52:13 "Therefore the L-rd himself shall give you a sign: Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son and shall call his name Immanuel" (G-D with us) Isaiah 7:14. "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful: Counsellor, The might G-d, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6. "As many were astonied at thee; his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men: So shall he sprinkle many nations: the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider. Who hath believed our report: And to whom is the arm of the L-RD revealed: For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him there is no beauty that we should desire him, He is despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of G-d, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." Isaiah 52:14-53:5

Mental Illness

As Walter Blyth said in one of LM Montgomery's books "It's a mighty poor family that can not boast of at least one mentally ill person in their family." (something to that effect)

If you are blessed with a mentally ill person in your family thank the L-RD for such a one.  They have struggles that we know nothing about and we can learn a lot through their sufferings. In I Thessalonians 5:14 we are admonished to "...comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men,..." This commandment includes those with week minds.G-d will give you grace to meet the need.  He is there for the well and the ill.

Hanukah The Feast of Dedication

Hanukah comes at an early time this year and is the perfect time to celebrate along with Thanksgiving.  Both are a celebration of G-d's goodness in what He has done for us.  The miracle of the one day supply of the holy oil lasting eight days until more was available is very thank worthy to the L-RD and His abundant mercy in allowing the pilgrims to make it through the first year of hardships is also thank worthy to the L-RD.  We have a holy G-d that cares for his creatures.  Praise ye the L-RD.

The benefits of being justified by faith

Faith and works do not produce the same results.  Here is  a look of results of faith.

The first benefit of being justified by faith is peace with G-d. "Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with G-d through our L-rd Yeshua Messiah."

Other benefits are, we have access by faith into this grace, rejoice in hope, glorying in tribulation knowing that tribulation works patience, and patience , experience and experience, hope. The love of G-d is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.  A person will be saved from wrath through him.  There is  joy in G-d through our L-rd Yeshua Messiah whom we have received the atonement.

The scriptures says it this way "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with G-d through our L-rd Yeshua Messiah: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of G-d. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed because the love of G-d is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Messiah died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But G-d commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to G-d by the death of his Son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in G-d through our L-rd Yeshua Messiah, by whom we have now received the atonement."

The benefits of faith are many and so mighty. I am praying that peoples eyes will be opened to this faith in Yeshua Messiah.

Faith verses Works

Immanuel, G-d with us, (Isaiah 7:14 in the Tenach and John 1:1,3,14 in the New Covenant) was realized in the coming of Yeshua. G-d clothed himself in our human nature, not our carnal nature. G-d humbled himself to take on human flesh to suffer and pay the penalty for our sins. The blood shed on the tree was the atoning blood of G-d.( Leviticus 17:11 in the Tenach and Hebrews 9:12 in the New Covenant) What does this mean to you personally? Does it cause you to repent toward G-d with a godly sorrow and have faith toward our L-rd Yeshua?

All religions make a person work for righteousness and to be good enough to go to heaven. No religion tells how much or what is enough to gain heaven. G-d's way is to give a person His righteousness when we humble ourselves and repent toward G-d and have faith toward our L-RD Yeshua.

Is your life based on "good works" or on faith , or does it matter to you?

G-d is...

G-d is the Creator of Man

"And G-d said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness..." Genesis 1:26a

"So G-d created man in his own image, in the image of G-d created he them." Genesis 1:27a

What happened to all the sacrifices

Yom Kippur is here and still no temple, no priest, and no sacrifice to show faith in the promised Messiah's redemption .  The temple, priest, and sacrifice was for spiritual benefit.  The physical benefit will  come when the kingdom comes.

People, please do not weary yourself  by continuously asking for something that has already happened. The sacrifice for sin is paid and complete.
The Creator took on our humane nature without taking  on our sin nature.  He humbled himself and became a little babe, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, was raised the third day from the grave, ascended into heaven and is coming again .

"But the Messiah being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building: Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

For if the blood of bulls and of goat, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of the Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to G-d, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living G-d?...

For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers there unto perfect." Hebrews 9:11-14, Hebrews 10:1

This Messiah is Yeshua (Jesus) Trust Him,

Some Proverbs

If you have ever read the book of Proverbs in the Bible you know what wisdom is there. Solomon penned these truths and they still hold fast today.  Some of these proverbs are here for you to read.

"Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied."Proverbs 27:20 Not only does hell want more and more souls but man always wants more and more. Only peace with G-d will bring lasting contentment.

Today's Proverb

"The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion." Proverbs28:1

G-d has given each person a conscience that tells us right from wrong. When we have a guilty conscience we are fearful someone will find out what we have done that is wrong and will hide when no one is looking for us.

The people that are right with G-d will stand against wrong and be strong for what is right.

Some verses from the Tenach(Old Testement)

"And the LORD G-d said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field: upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed: it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." Genesis 3:14&15 The very first promise of the Redeemer was to the serpent in the garden of Eden. If you want to find out why God would take time to talk to a serpent, read Genesis Chapter 3

A promise for today "For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints: they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off." Psalm 37:28

Keeping a balance in today's world

I think this psalm is especially for us today to keep things in right perspective.

"Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. Trust in the L-RD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the L-RD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the L-RD;trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the L-RD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wiseItalic to do evil; For evildoers shall be cut off but those that wait upon the L-RD, they shall inherit the earth, For yet a little while and the wicked shall not be : yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be . But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth, The L-RD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the L-RD upholdeth the righteous..." The rest of the psalm is found in Psalm 37 starting at verse 18 There are many more promises that we can rest on knowing G-d sees and is in control no matter what vain man tells us.

Time of Jacob's Trouble

In Jeremiah, chapter 30 there is a prophecy of G-d returning Israel to his own land and what will happen in the land "For, lo, the days come, saith the L-RD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah saith the L-RD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. And these are the words that the L-RD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah. For thus saith the L-RD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace. Ask ye now and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." Jeremiah 30:3-7

The book of Joel tells what happens during the time of Jacob's trouble. It will be worse than WWII and the Messiah himself will return from heaven to put down all Israel's enemies and rule for 1,000 years. All that receive the Messiah as king will go into the kingdom.

Many people will follow the false messiah that proclaims himself to be G-d during the time of Jacob's trouble. The ones that follow the false messiah will never be able to enter the 1,000 year kingdom. Read the book of Revelation in the New Covenant to see the end of the false messiah.

Who Shall Ascend?

"Who shall ascend into the hill of th L-RD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart: who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. Psalm 24:3-4 Now if there is a humble person reading this who acknowledges they do not qualify to ascend into the hill of the L-RD or stand in his holy place there is a way to qualify and the first step is humility. A proud person only justifies himself and can not attain what he think he already has ( clean hands and a pure heart) but truly does not have.

The only way to obtain clean hands and a pure heart in order to ascend into the hill of the L-RD and stand in his holy place is to have ones sins forgiven."Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the L-RD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile." Psalm 32: 1-2

The only way to have sins forgiven is trust in the crucified, risen Messiah of Isaih 53:5 "...But he was wounded for our transgression, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed...."

"I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the L-RD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah" Psalm 32:5

Sin is...

Sin is...transgression of the law

Deuteronomy27:26 "Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this
law to do them."

If we offend in one point we have offended in all. Sin is real, it offends G-d and He has provided the remedy in the shed blood of Yeshua, His Son

Sin is...

Sin is... knowing to do good and not doing it, it is sin to him
Genesis 4:7 "If thou doest well shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door."

Another way of saying what sin is..."Therefore to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin."

Are you...

Are you a sinner,( a transgressor of G-d"s law, one who has failed to always to do good)
Do you know what to do about your transgressions?

Sing

I love to sing praises to the L-RD. It lifts me out of problems that have me bogged down, it puts everything in proper perspective, it gives me hope for that glad tomorrow, it reminds me of the love He has for me, it is a way of expressing the love I have for the Messiah. What a joy to be able to sing.  The greater joy will be when Zephaniah 3:17 (found in the Tenach) comes to pass.  "The L-RD thy G-d in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing." (bold print for emphases)  I look forward to hearing G-d sing to me.

What about the world?

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love

of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the

eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world and the world passeth away

and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of G-d abideth for ever."

The world has nothing lasting to offer a person.  Our affections are misplaced when we love the world.  When we love G-d  our lives are blessed on earth and rewarded  for eternity.

G-d is...

G-d is the Redeemer of man

"And the L-RD spake unto Moses saying...For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." Leviticus 17:1&11 G-d promised Moses that G-d himself would provide the blood for the atonement.

"And Abraham said, My son, G-d will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering..." Genesis 22:8 Abraham knew the same thing that Moses knew about redemption, G-d himself would be the blood sacrifice.

Isaiah 53 tells of G-d's blood sacrifice for man to be redeemed from all their sins and be able to spend etrnity with G-d

"...But he was wounded for our transgressions...the chastisement of our peace was upon him...for he shall bear their iniquities...he bare the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors."

Only the Messiah of Israel, Yeshua, qualifies for this discription. No nation has ever been holy and blameless to bear the sins for transgressors, whether it be Israel being carried away into Babylon for their rebellion against G-d or the pagan nations, none are able to bear others transgressions because their own transgressions need to be paid for. Only G-d through his Son could provide the sacrifice for transgression.

G-d is

G-d is the Judge of man

As Abraham speaks to G-d he says "...That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" Genesis 18:25

"Our G-d shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people." Psalm 50:6

Yes, G-d will judge man.

G-d is...

G-d is Three distinct persons in One G-d

"In the beginning (1) G-d created the heaven and the earth..." "and(2)the Spirit of G-d moved upon the face of the waters..." Genesis 1:1,2 "Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment: Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is (3)his son's name, if thou canst tell" Proverbs 30:4

Number1,2,&3 supplied for clarification of the three persons in one G-d and emphasis.

(1)G-d the Father,(2)G-d the Spirit, and (3)G-d the Son are three distinct ,separate Persons yet One unified G-d

"Hear O Israel: The L-RD our G-d is one L-RD:..." Deuteronomy 6:4 "...from the time that it was there am I: and now the (1)L-RD G-d, and (2)his Spirit hath sent (3)me.(3)Thus saith the L-RD, thy Redeemer, the (3)Holy One of Israel: I am the L-RD thy G-d..."Isaiah 48:16b-17a.

We have a mighty G-d, Everlasting Father, Holy One. What a wonderful Redeemer.

More posts to come on the subject G-d is...

Sing

"Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the L-RD..."Exodus 15:1
"Then Israel sang this song,..." Numbers 21:17
"Then sang Deborah and Barak..."...even I, will sing unto the L-rd, I will sing praise to the L-RD G-D of Israel..."
"Sing unto the L-RD, all the earth;shew forth from day to day his salvation," IChronicles 16:23
"Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the L-RD, because he cometh to judge the earth."
Singing is a way to praise the L-RD.

When G-d sings

I love  this verse about G-d joying over Israel with song during the kingdom.  It comes from Zephaniah 3:17
"The L-RD thy G-d in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing."
Because of my trust in the Lamb of G-d which taketh away the sin of the world I will sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom.  I will hear G-d sing.  Will you be there also to hear G-d sing?
