This is a re post from last year
Physical Jew-At one time Jew meant someone from the tribe of Judah (one of Jacob's twelve sons). Today Jew means one who is born through the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Jew is interchangeable with Hebrew ( one who crosses over).
Not many people can be physically Jewish, G-d's chosen people of whom pertain the covenants and oracles of G-d. The people chosen to show salvation to the world, with whom G-d walked , whom G-d used to bring the scriptures to the world, whom the Messiah of Israel and the Saviour of the world came according to the flesh Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:...and his name shall be called...The mighty G-d, The everlasting Father,..."( G-d took on himself the form of our human nature, not our carnal nature). The Jews are also chosen to be G-d's battle ax. Jeremiah 51:20-24 "Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms:..."
The Jews legacy from G-d is great. Genesis 12:2 and 3, G-d makes these promises to Abram ( later to become Abraham)"And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed
So what is a spiritual Jew? It is one whose heart has been circumcised, not literally but spiritually. "For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?...For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly: neither is that circumcison.which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter: whose praise is not of men,but of G-d" Romans 2:25-29
