"The law of the L-RD is perfect, converting the soul:..." Psalm 19:7a The law of the L-Rd is the only law that is perfect and it is the only law that can convert the soul. No religious law or govenrmental law is perfect and it can not change any soul. The soul needs to be converted, turned back, from going its own way to going G-d's way. "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way;..." Isaiah 53:6a
The perfect law of G-d is all about our sin, to show us the difference between right and wrong, to show us how holy G-d is and to show us how sinful we are. The law also shows us the need for blood to wash away our sin and to be made right with G-d. Leviticus 17:11 shows us that G-d would provide the blood sacrifice for the soul."For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul." This verse is not talking about the animals given by the people to the priests to make a blood sacrifice for their sins but this is talking about a blood sacrifice that G-d himself would give for the soul.
"Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to
the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Messiah who
through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to G-d, purge
your conscience from dead works to serve the living G-d?" Hebrews 9:12 - 14
Trusting G-d's blood atonement will change a person from going their own way to going G-d's way. It is the only way.

What is the Torah good for?
What happens when we try to keep the law to go to heaven?
Deuteronomy 27:26 "Cured be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them, And all the people shall say, Amen." This verse in the Torah says if we don't keep all the law we are cursed. Doesn't sound like any of us would go to heaven by keeping the law. As for someone being without sin and making it into heaven the Tanak says"For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." Ecclesiastes 7:20 Well, we are all cursed for not keeping the law and no one is able to keep the law, what can a person do to receive redemption from G-D?
So what is the Torah good for if we can not be made right with G-d by keeping it? Psalms 19:7 tells us the reason for the Torah "The law of the L-RD is perfect, converting the soul: .Our soul needs to be converted from what it is(" the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked..." Jeremiah 17:9a) to what is right. The law shows us we have sin in our lifes and the penalty for sin is death.

An Abomination
Are we an abomination to G-d? There are a lot of verses in the Bible describing what is abominable to the L-Rd but one verse itemizes seven abominations for us and sums up the basis of abomination.
Proverbs 6:16 -19 "These six things doth the L-Rd hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto
him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood. An heart that deviseth
wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies,
and he that soweth discord among brethren."

Rejection
Isn't it interesting when we reject the truth we have nothing but lies to believe. Then we can not understand why everything is going wrong and become frustrated and curse G-d when G-d is Truth and it is Him we have rejected.
"Yeshua saith unto them, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6 Yeshua is truth. Please do not reject Him.

Israel's Promise
G-d promised Israel a sign as to the coming of the Messiah. Isaiah 7:14 "There fore the L-RD himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." Only one event such as this took place in Israel. The record is found in the New Covenant, "And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from G-d unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the L-RD is with thee. blessed art thou among women. And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, ad cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with G-d. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name YESHUA. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the L-RD G-d shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever, and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her,The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of G-d." Luke 1:26-35
We can rejoice and remember during this time of Year G-d keeps his promises.Messiah came the first time to redeem us back to The Father. He will come again to set up his kingdom in Israel to rule and reign on earth Have a blessed Nativity celebration
