The Time of Jacob's Trouble begins after the church ( any person, Jew or Gentile, that has repented toward G-d and has faith toward our L-rd Yeshua) is taken out of the world.
The Time of Jacob's Trouble will last 7 years.
The first 3 1/2 year period starts with G-d allowing a one world ruler to come in peacefully to rule from Jerusalem, ruthlessly maintaining power. G-d's judgement starts to be poured out on the earth at the same time the one world ruler is taking control of the world. Some of G-d's plagues are 1)1/3 of trees burnt up and all green grass by hail and fire mingled with blood. 2)1/3 of sea becomes blood and 1/3 of living creatures which were in the sea die and 1/3 part of the ships are destroyed. 3)1/3 part of the waters became wormwood and many men will die of the waters because they were made bitter. 4)1/3 part of the sun is smitten and the 1/3 part of the moon and stars are darkened and the day doesn't shine for 1/3 part of the day or the night. There are more plaques. You can read them in Revelation chapters 8 and 9 Two witnesses do miracles proclaiming the One true G-d. When they are
killed a great party is thrown. 31/2 days later G-d brings them back to
life and they are taken up in a cloud. Revelation 11:3-12
In the second half of the time of Jacob's trouble, (the great tribulation),there are 144,000 Jewish virgin males, 12 thousand sealed from each tribe, that witness to the people that Yeshua is the Messiah and to receive him. They are all martyred. Many people turn to G-d as a result of their testimony.
The second 31/2 year period starts with the one world ruler entering the rebuilt temple proclaiming himself G-d and demands worship, giving a number, name, or mark to anyone that will worship him. Without the mark one is not able to buy or sell. Revelation 13:16-18 The Jewish nation as a whole flee Jerusalem.
The one world economic commercial system is destroyed at the last 31/2 year period. All nations come against Israel. Revelation 16:14-16
